Cisco, bleeding eyeballs and skull punches…

“They stumbled to the top of the staircase wearing only jeans and bras, giggling like schoolgirls while punching each other Tyler Durden-style. I suspected they either got their hands on Cisco, PCP, or both…Then they tumbled down the staircase…”

I have no idea what’s going on…

I’m becoming unhinged. This economy is SILLY. I apply for all kinds of jobs that I am qualified for, film jobs, editing jobs, and NEVER get calls. I have an MFA damnitall! Then I email my phone number and a photo (granted I picked the most ridiculous pic of me possible) to this ad to be a “Go Go Dancer/Waitress” (at a legit bar) without even a resume attached and I get a response within an hour? For a job that will probably pay better than any film industry job I could get at this point in time. I mean I know the statistics people said the recession ended in June 2009, but it still feels like rough waters out there to me. I wonder how much the people got paid to conduct that survey telling the rest of us that the recession is over and we should all fling our hands up in praise and do a jig and thank the good lord everything’s all better! But I don’t have time to worry about things like what the invisible statistics people got paid to figure out that everything was hunky dory… I have a go go dancing interview to prepare for!

In the meantime here’s something to help you stop doing whatever it is you were doing: http://bit.ly/aBCoaa
